IntelliProfile

IntelliProfile is a built-in expert system that supports operation of Noiseware's core noise suppression engine. It employs powerful Artificial Intelligence methods to analyze and recognize noise patterns and to enable effective noise detection. Furthermore, IntelliProfile employs the results of its analysis and the EXIF data to build a knowledge repository that matures as more images are being processed. Noiseware learns to perfect its processing capabilities by fine-tuning the treatment variables such as the noise levels based on its knowledge repository.

Manual Noise Profile

In addition to the automatic mode which considers the whole image, IntelliProfile provides mechanism for manual noise profiling which allows fine-tuning the input to the profiling engine by specifying custom image regions to be analyzed. A sample region can span across different tonal, color or detail intensive areas of the image. Noiseware will automatically allocate the respective noise indicators across the results derived from all sampling regions.

IntelliGuard

There is a fine balance between the effects of aggressive noise reduction and eliminating important image information contained in small details. DetailGuard provides greater control over filtering process to safeguard image details from excessive alteration. Additionally, it includes an advanced detail color protection to retain the color fidelity of the image.

Advanced Filter Controls

Noiseware filter control sets provide a wide range of fine-tuning depending on specific image requirements. The available controls include frequency, color and tonal range adjustment and suppression parameters as well as dedicated controls for luminance and color noise filtering. By varying these parameters you can fine-tune your custom filter configuration for optimal results.

Portraiture

Portraiture is a Photoshop and Aperture plugin that eliminates the tedious manual labor of selective masking and pixel-by-pixel treatments to help you achieve excellence in portrait retouching. It intelligently smoothens and removes imperfections while preserving skin texture and other important portrait details such as hair, eyebrows, eyelashes etc.

Detail Smoothing

Portraiture smooths and softens an image by removing artifacts while preserving skin texture and other important image details such as hair, eyebrows, eyelashes etc. To achieve the desired result, you can adjust the smoothing degree for different detail sizes — fine, medium and large.

Additionally with the "Portrait Size" parameter Portraiture adjusts the smoothing parameters to achieve the most visually compelling result for different portrait sizes.

Skin Tones Mask

Portraiture provides a powerful skin tone masking tool with an Auto-Mask feature to allow for fine smoothening control across all skin tones present in the subject image. Auto-Mask recognizes the skin tone range of the image automatically and, accordingly, creates an optimal skin tones mask for that particular image.

Auto-Mask provides an excellent starting point for manually fine-tuning the automatic results, if desired. With many available slider controls and the two Color Picker tools, you can further fine-tune the Auto-Mask results to create the most optimal skin tones mask for your image and for your portfolio requirements.

Auto-mask is also very useful when batch processing. Because it creates the masks automatically based on the image's unique skin tone range, each image will be treated individually during the batch process, thus enabling an efficient workflow technique when choosing to apply detail smoothening only to skin tones for a large number of images.

Additionally, Portraiture allows for outputting only the masked range of the image to enable further adjustments to the skin areas.

Enhancements

Portraiture provides several controls to further enhance your portraits. You can adjust the sharpness, warmth, brightness and contrast, as well as soften to produce a glamour effect.

The combination of brightness and contrast controls allow for adjusting the brightness and contrast without over blowing highlights or over darkening the shadows.

The warmth control adjusts the skin color saturation to emulate different skin tones from pale to dark.

RealGrain

If you liked the darkroom age, the soft, warm graininess of the film, or you seek to infuse that fuzzy, retro look or perhaps enhance your digital photos by simulating the greater range and texture of traditional film, then RealGrain is the plugin for you.

RealGrain features versatile methods for simulating the grain patterns, the color and the tonal response of different films and different scan resolutions to convey a truly film-like image effect.

Films

Grain

RealGrain features versatile methods for simulating the luminance and color grain patterns at various intensities and sizes, which can be further adjusted by their tonal range and balanced by their brightness and colors, providing a comprehensive range of control over the output.

And you can use dedicated grain color and tone balance controls to change the tonality or color tint of the image.

Color & Tone

RealGrain features powerful controls for adjusting spectral colors and adjusting tone supported by predefined presets for one-click operations. You can adjust hue, saturation, and brightness, as well as use the master saturation and hue sliders for adjusting the saturation and hue levels for all color ranges. Tone settings can also be viewed and fine-tuned using the Tone Adjustment Curve tool.

Black & White

You can convert your images into Black&White and use the color mixers to fine-tune each color contribution to the resulting tone.

RealGrain also features a versatile Color Filter simulation tool for B&W photography. You can select from a pre-defined list of presets or manually adjust the filter hue and density.

Split-Toning

RealGrain enables the simulation of traditional B&W toning effects such as Sepia, Platinum and others, as well as split-toning effects. You can control color toning for Shadows and Highlights, as well as for single tone effects, to colorize B&W images, or to adjust the tint in color images.
